Being Charitable

Shoes that fit is a charity that helps to provide new shoes to children in need so they can attend school in comfort and with dignity, better prepared to learn and play. In 1993 the Charity was incorporated in California. Fund raising costs were 3% of related contributions. (Related contributions, which totaled $3,751,398, are donations received as a result of fund raising activities.) Volunteer sponsors decide how many children they can provide new shoes to, and school staff identify and measure students who are most in need with materials the organization provides.

I picked this charity because i think that what they are doing is a good thing. They are helping out people who cant afford shoes, get shoes that fit them and i think that the family who receives these present feel loved and joy for what this charity is doing. The charity seems to be a great charity for people who cant afford shoes for their kids. Shoes that fit is a great charity and what they do is just speeding love and support to poor families. 

By providing them with much-needed new shoes so that they can go to school in comfort and with dignity and focus on their studies rather than their circumstances. Their chosen school identifies the children most in need of new shoes and then measures these students for proper size and fit with materials we provide.

Perseverance

  I have a goal to graduate high school and start my own business in marketing. Recently my friends and i have started a small local company called, Bad Idea. In this small business, we make and sell hats and since business has been success we are now considering the idea of making stickers and shirts. Working with this company has been very interesting and fun for me because I've got to watch something that was just an idea grow into something much more. I got the opportunity to work with some cool people who've taught me so much about the marketing world. I learned how much time it takes into coming up with a design, graphic design,

  One day I was watching a T.V commercial and I got the idea of starting a clothing company. I came with up some random ideas and I drew them out on a piece of paper. I started researching more information about starting a clothing brand. I told my friends about the idea and they said that they would like to be a part of the company. At first we weren't sure what the brand was going to be called,  after about 2 hours of coming up with potential names, one of my friends suguested  we call it "Bad Idea". We all agreed and decided to make it our new brand name stuck. The only thing that was left was the design. The design we came up with was a skeleton hand with a rose in it's hand.

  I went to different shops where they sell there own clothes an i asked for some advice for people who are just starting there own clothing company. They told me that we should never start off by selling our stuff for a good price and not make it expensive. They also said that we should always be different then other company's we should always get ideas from other people work but never copy the same thing. When we made the hats a ton of people told me that they liked the hat and were could they buy one. After the first week we finally released the hats and in under a week all of the hats sold out. I plan on making this company really big and I will not give up on the company.

I tried Desert typing race, save the sailboat race, and Outer space fleet commander. I liked save the sailboat race becuase it was fun and it was a nice challenge.

My Top Three sports that i play

1. Skateboarding

I've been skateboarding for about 3 years. I love this sport because its fun, you get to meet new people. It is a good exercise, and i like learning new tricks. It is a little changeling but it gets easier.

2. Basketball

I've always liked to watch basketball games on T.V. I started playing when i was 14. I just thought of it as a hobby of mine. I played with friends at like school yards. It's fun and a good way to exercise.

3. Baseball

I've always liked baseball as a little kid. I joined a little league when i was 11 and i liked it a lot. My team wasn't the best but we still had fun and won a couple of games. I've played for 4 years i don't play anymore but i can still play.

Bucket List

1.  I want to graduate from High School- I was told that i wouldn't make it and that I am a failure in life,

2. I want to become a mechanic- I want to go to golden west to study mechanics there.


3. I want to buy a car i want- Subaru wrx sti is the car i want.

4. Buy a house before i turn 28- I want a 2 story house with a big pool.

5.  Go to a super bowl- I've always wanted to go to a super bowl doesn't mater who plays i just want to go to one.

My Favorite Hobby

My favorite hobby is Skateboarding. I started skateboarding when i was 16. My old friend from mesa got me into skateboarding. I saw him skateboarding and it caught my attention i thought it was cool how you can do tricks on a small skateboard. When i first started i was scared because you needed to have balance to ride a skateboard. It took me like 3 days to get use to it but now I'm riding like a pro. I've meet a couple of pro skaters over the past couple years. For one I've meet Kevin Bradley, Sean Malto, Kevin Romar, etc.

Most of time while I'm skateboarding i like to watch other people who are better so i get motivated. I've been to a couple of skateboarding competitions. The first one i have ever been to was the whole vans and RVCA skate team at the vans outdoor skate park in Newport Beach. I had so much fun i went with my friends and it was awesome. I really liked it so went to many more they're so much fun it kind of motivates you to get better.                                                                                   

About Me

      My name is Jose Fernando Molina I am 18 years old and am a senior at Back Bay High School. I was born in Anaheim but have been raised in Costa Mesa, California. I live with both my parents and younger brother, who is an 8th grader at Costa Mesa High School. My hobbies include hanging out with my friends, playing my guitar, skateboarding with my friends, and spending time with my girlfriend. i have always wanted to be a good drummer like shawn drover.

    I've had dreams about being a good drummer. I have been inspired by Shawn Drover old drummer of Megadeth. I've seen him live when i was 15 in Irvine. It was the best day of my life because I've been a huge fan of him. He is a supper fast drummer i have tried to practice one of his solos on the drums and i failed. He is 50 now but he will always be my favorite drummer. I myself think he is a legend. I wish to meet him someday even when if he is not a drummer anymore that's my goal before i die.

   Me and my brother both skateboard together. I was the one who got him into it at first he didn't like it because he said it was hard. It is hard but you just got to practice to be better at something you like. My dad didn't like him skating he said that he didn't want him to get hurt because of soccer. My brother still skated and he got better but slowly stop skateboarding because he didn't really have a lot of time because of practice. He practices Monday-Thursday from 4 till 9 and he practices in Carson so that pretty took up all his time. We still still skateboard once in a while but i mean its fun.
